Broadcasting is My Game The Gary Cocola Story as told to Chris Terrence
Gary Cocola's story is that of a man who had a dream, had it come true, only to lose it, be away from it for a number of years, although never giving up on it, and then came back to claim it and live it and reach even higher dreams. The broadcasting business is a very difficult one no matter which facet of it you can be involved with. Gary Cocola was in the business for all angles including careers on both sides of the camera. His story is an exciting one with many twists and turns, complete with the "agony and the extacy" as Jim McKay of Wide World of Sports used to say. Gary started at the very bottom of the business and worked his way up to a place where he has achieved great sucess and still has the desire and enthusiasm to see where this ever changing medium is going next. Broadcasting Is My Game is going to be an interesting book about the facinating world of television. It could be a text book, yet it's funny and personal. Look for it on bookshelves everywhere this summer.
