Yah Gotta Start Somewhere
Chris originally came to California to play music (he plays guitar) at the Awahnee Hotel in Yosemite Nation Park. He played there with the singing duo Bob and Chris, for two summers and then came down in the Fall to work around Fresno clubs. He and Bob were once regulars on the old Al Radka Show. That's how old he is! He still enjoys playing music by himself or with friends around a campfire or in the backyard or by a campfire in the backyard. At one time he was a member of the Music Farmers. Let's see some hands - how many remember that group? How about the Yarboro/Terrence Group? OK. Before all this, back on his home turf in New York, Chris played with such groups as Abbey Boom Boom and the Marmalade Twins......no? OK how bout Emma Whup and the Reptiles or Gilbert Marshall Falling Through Snow? No? Well, you had to be there. Send for pictures.

Songwriter
Chris is still a songwriter and jingle writer though, and many of his tunes have played on various radio and television broadcasts over the years. He has written jingles for such companies as TransAmerica Insurance, the old Harvey Himes jingle, Cellular One, Fresno Ridesharing, Oxnard Mazda, Channel 47 in Fresno, and many others. He has also penned many songs that have appeared on albums and CD's for various artists.

Worked With
In the Fresno area he worked with other groups in one capicity or another, with the Farmers, Hog Wild, the Rattlesnake Hatband, Kenny Hall and the Long Hall, the Gage Twins, Gary Youngblood Band, and the one and only On-Tonight All Star Band from the On Tonight with Chris Terrence Show....Dr. Maynard Williams, Larry Gittens, John Schaffer, Hank Sandoval, Johnny "The Stick" Valenzuela, John Koontz, Steve "Thunderfingers" Carter, Mike Dana, Bob DelMonte, Russ Thomas(Engler), Bruce Conte, Nate Butler, Robert Aragon, and lots of others of Fresno finest. Man, that was a great band.
