Central Valley Coyotes Arena League Football
Underway on Cocola Broadcasting and Comcast Stations - Chris Terrence (Play by play) & Rick Van Horne (Color)
The Central Valley Coyotes or the AF2 are kicking off their 2008 home season with an April 26th gave against rival Stockton Lightning at Selland Arena in Fresno. The Coyotes, under the direction of head coach Fred Biletnikoff, Jr., have been improving steadily over the past few years, and last year went to the second round of the national AF2 playoffs before losing a hard fought game to the American Conference champions, the Scranton/Wilkes Berry (PA) Pioneers.

The Coyotes are looking forward to another exciting year with returning all-star veterans like receiver, Jason Barnes, all purpose performer, Wes Borba, and defensive standout Donyell Booker. Newcomers like former star quarterback at Cal, Joe Ayoob, University of Nevada star receiver, Nichiren Flowers, and defensive back Maurice Holmes, make an already very tough Coyote team, even tougher.

Coyote fans will be able to catch the games on TV this year on KJEO-TV (Ch 32 in Fresno), KGMC-TV (Ch. 43, Comcast Cable Ch 10 in Fresno and Visalia, and Charter Cable Ch. 10 in Porterville). The games will also be available on the Internet at kjeotv.com and cocolatv.com.

Cocola Broadcasting is proud to begin their second year televising the Coyotes games. Check your local listings for times of the games. KJEO TV is also offering a half hour program, The Coyote Football Show, with Chris Terrence and Fred Biletnikoff, Jr. and featuring visits from Coyote players, coaches, staff, and of course, the CV Coyotes Dance and Cheer Squad. The show will air twice weekly, Mondays and Fridays at 7:30pm on KJEO TV.

54th Annual Fresno City-County High School All-Star Football Game
KJEO and KGMC TV        June 20th 2008
Cocola Broadcasting is proud to announce that KJEO-TV and KGMC- TV will, for the seventh consecutive year, televise the classic, which is the longest running high school football all-star game in California. The game, which has in recent years has donated well over $400,000.00 to the Fresno Boys and Girls Clubs in the Greater Fresno area. Each year the game features the very best of the recently graduated high school players. Some these outstanding young players will go on to play college and pro football in the years to come. Just a small sampling of these would be the likes of Tim McDonald of USC and SF 49er fame, Henry Ellard all pro for the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams, Jim Merlo of the New Orleans Saints, Ricky Manning, Jr. of the Chicago Bears, and Jimmy Johnson, a member of the NFL Hall of Fame, and many, many others. For some it will be their last game of organized football and a game they will never forget. The game is one where everybody wins, especially the Boys and Girls Club, and the fans of high school sports.

Also for the 7th consecutive season, Chris Terrence and Fred Clark will be on hand for the play-by-play and color comments. This game will mark the beginning of the 7th year of high school football on the Cocola Broadcasting network. The City vs. County game is the first game of another 16 games to be seen on CBC stations this Fall. Including the CIF playoffs and championships. Once again, check your local listings for times and dates of the games.
