Summertime Summertime!
Busy, Busy, Busy

Hi everybody! Wow, I can't believe it 's summer already. So much is happening, and let me start with the best news first. May 15th was a day we will never forget as my daughter Corina, and her terrific soulmate, Jefferey Wolonoski, were married in Santa Barbara. What a glorious day it was indeed as their many friends and relatives gathered to honor their exchange of vows. The ceremony was wonderful and the bride was beautiful and happiness was the order of the day. The reception was so much fun as it was a terrific time in an outdoor setting that went from afternoon to evening in an outdoor setting where the Mr. & Ms. greeted and partied with their loved ones as the band played on and their were smiles everywhere from begining to end. Corina, her mother, Jeanie, and Jeff, and his mother Sandy, and many others worked very hard to make the day a perfect one as a splendid time was had by all.

So many great stories about inductees, like Bob Mathias, Tom Seaver, Rafer Johnson, Tom Flores, Amanda Scott, Trent Dilfer Jackie White, Henry Ellard, Jerry Tarkanian, Jim Sweeney, and many, many others, along with wonderful pictures of the Fresno County history. The book was the brainchild of Dr. Peter G. Mehas, and the Board of Directors of the Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame. Over 570 pages of stories and photographs, coming to a coffee table near you.

Have Fun, Big Fun

Hope you have a great summer and can find time to get next to some lakes and an ocean. I hope to do both as well as get some mountain time in as I am currently working on a new book and get to play in some basketball tournaments over the summer, one in Montana, and one in Oregon. Now that I have reached Jack Benney's age (39), I am hoping to improve my jump shot.

Have a wonderful summer!
